This comes from the devotional Streams in the Desert.
“Genuine faith puts its letter in the mailbox and lets go. Distrust, however, holds on to a corner of the envelope and then wonders why the answer never arrives.” (p.168) What envelope have you been most prone to hold the edge of?

What a great post!! It really made me think...and realize how many envelopes I had a hold of :) Thank you for the reminder of true faith!
There are definitely a lot of envelopes that I try to keep hold of thinking that I can do it myself. When I just need to mail them and let God handle it. Thanks for the reminder!!
